M. McIntosh Gallery

The M. McIntosh Gallery is organized into six web spaces:

The first section includes Recent Art Work. Usually a brief explanation is included on what inspired these paintings. Inspiration may come from any number of different sources: my home, my travels, my family, my garden etc. As I mentioned previously, style often coincides with the subject and the materials I am working with at the time. A good portion of my work is done on handmade paper.

The second section includes Plum Island Scenes. I am fortunate that Plum Island is the place I call home. Inspiration abounds any season of the year on the island.

The third section includes Landscapes inspired by some of my other favorite places and also from my travels in the USA and overseas.

The fourth section includes Floral & Still Life inspired by my gardens and my home. Outside of painting and gardening, cooking is my favorite pastime. And so the still life is a natural for me.

The fifth section includes Portraits, Figures inspired by members of my family, my travels and sometimes by a principle expressed in an individual personage.

The Sixth section includes Sculpture.
